  • The CNC spindle motor must use a suitable inverter or drive controller. The selection and parameters of the inverter or drive controller should match the voltage, current, power, and frequency of the spindle motor. The spindle motor’s speed control and torque output can be achieved in this way.
  • Turn the CNC spindle motor shaft head by hand before installation. It should feel flexible, rotate evenly and without blocking.
  • The CNC spindle motor must be operated in the indicated direction. Reversal is strictly prohibited. Otherwise, the tool or rotating parts may loosen or fall off, causing production safety accidents.
  • The CNC spindle motor must be grounded to prevent electric shock accidents. If it is not grounded, leakage voltage and current will interfere with the regular operation of other circuits.
  • When the CNC spindle motor is clamped with a tool, the collet, nut, inner cone, and tool handle must be cleaned to avoid affecting the accuracy.
  • The service life of the CNC spindle motor is closely related to the usual maintenance. It cannot be over-speed or overloaded. Otherwise, the bearings are easily damaged. After completing each work, the fan and air duct dust must be blown clean. To avoid affecting the heat dissipation performance of the motor.
  • After the CNC spindle motor arrives or has not been turned on for over a month, it must be run at a low speed before installation. The running-in speed is about 10%-20% of the maximum speed, and the time is not less than 30 minutes.
  • The CNC spindle motor is a precision product. It is strictly forbidden to collide during storage and use, especially at the shaft end; otherwise, it will affect the accuracy.
  • After continuous operation (usually four hours), stopping the machine for half an hour is recommended to cool the spindle.
